Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss

Don't you just love Dr. Seuss books!
What a wonderful, creative mind he had!
BRILLIANT!
During the week of his birthday {March 2} each year, we celebrate Dr. Seuss and Read Across America at school.
Our Events Committee {which I belong to} plans a fun-filled week for all!
Here's what we planned...

Monday:  Wear your most wildest socks for Fox In Socks
Tuesday:  Wear your craziest hat for The Cat In The Hat
Wednesday:  Wear your wackiest outfit that you can put together for Wacky Wednesday.
*After school fun...Wacky Wednesday with games, prizes, pics with The Cat In The Hat, himself.  Make a craft, have a fun snack, join in the fun with the Backwards Book Walk, and more...FREE!
Thursday:  Wear GREEN for Green Eggs and Ham...which is just what you will be eating for lunch.
Friday:  PJ's and slippers for I Don't Want To Get Up Today.
{I especially LOVE that day...can't wait!!}

What a fun week it is!  Just look...
* Faces have been changed to protect the innocent *

These are just a few of our kids that wore their crazy hats for
CrAzY hAt DaY today!

Here's the hat Mrs. Wrinn created...
Vintage straw hat, found at an antique shop

Some ribbon, millinery, bling, and Cat in the Hat pin {from Islands of Adventure} added

Such a FUN and Crazy Hat~!~
