Sares' Birthday Costume Ball

It's Sares' birthday, and she is hosting another Costume Ball.  Last year was great fun, so I am ready to PaR-TaY again with Sares!

So, my clothes are all ready, so it's time to get dressed.

First, I must squeeze into my silk corset.

Oooohhhh...let me get this thing all laced up.

Ahhhhh...there's my waist again!
hee hee

This is my Venetian Masquerade ball gown and white wig.
Lovely, right?

The lace on the sleeves is just beautiful.

Here's a side view of my costume.  I can't wait to see what others will be wearing.

At my dressing table, I fix my white wig and put on my perfume.  I just love my Edwardian pink rose dresser set!

I found the most spectacular necklace that matches my dress.
Yummy pink!  Of course!

When the doors opened to the Grand Ballroom...this is what we saw...
Breathtaking!  I can't wait to dance with my beau.

Sares' rose-covered cake is just gorgeous!
I must get the name of the caterer.

There were many other delicious goodies served with the cake!
Yum-O!!!

Here's a toast to you Sares!

I do hope Sares enjoys her gift.
It's a baby pink container chockful of scrumptious rose goodies...
My favorite are the rose soaps.
Oh, I do hope she loves them!

Thank you Sares' for inviting me to your Costume Ball Birthday Party!  I wish you a MOST beautiful and happy birthday!  May it be as special as you!!!

Everyone, head on over to Sares' and wish her a Happy Birthday!

Birthday Blessings,
Rebecca

I loved your gown and white wig. I love that awesome wig stand...it would also make an awesome hat stand. I have never ever seen one that looked like that...awesome.
Enjoyed the corset but I just couldn't get into a corset without it looking obscene and I would have to rush to the ER for oxygen and have it cut off.
Have a wonderful weekend

I did see you dancing! That gown shimmered in the candlelight. And may I say, a very handsome beau. Where did you find the energy? You seemed to be floating across the room.
Such fun - shall we all do it again next year?
