Sweet Shabby Birds and Roses

When I purchased this sweet chippy white frame, I didn't have a particular picture in mind for it.  I knew one day though, I would find just the right one.

What could be sweeter than the chippy white color?

And this scrolly base with scrolly legs?

And the wonderful top?

Can't get enough of that distressed look!

So, what could be sweeter than this little frame {which I might add is a HEAVY thing!}???

Well, I think this little bird is even sweeter!!!

And these large fabulous roses are sweeter!!!
Ok,maybe the WHOLE thing is sweet!!  Yep, I knew I'd find the perfect picture one day!  And here it is!

Today, I am linking to

I'm your newest follower...only 2 more to go! Your blog is wonderful and I can't wait to browse around. I did see a post that caught my eye and I can't wait to read it...it's the one about the dollies. Looks like you have vintage hard plastic dolls pictured and I have a small collection of them.

Very cute, I love the color combinations. I noticed you and your husband share the same anniversary as my husband and I.

hi there I just visited your blog for the first time, lovely! I see you too like baskets and thought I would share something with you. I live in Canada an hour from Toronto. Close by we have a recycling place where ppl bring stuff, all kinds of stuff. Books lamps doors china candlesticks vases toaster ovens sporting stuff pictures clothes records vaccuums old computers and printers mirrors...you name it its there...and baskets. They allow ppl to drop off stuff to keep it out of the land fills and then they organize it and sell it usually by weight. I stop in every couple of days. My favorites are old magazines, Martha Stewart, Victoria, and gardening, 10 cents each. AND BASKETS I have been collecting baskets for years and have over a hundred. Planning to plant herbs in then to sell. They are very cheap maybe 25 cents. You might find a similar place where you live, have a great day. Monique... mdalimonte@peoplestring.com
