Beginning To Look Like Autumn

Ahhhhh...my favorite time of year!  This is my first week off for Fall Break, and I'm lovin' it!

On Monday, I started bringing out my fall decorations.  I just adore the vibrant colors of autumn.

The Colors of Autumn

Have I told you how much I LOVE autumn?  It is my favorite season!  The colors of autumn are one reason it is my fav!  All around me, rich vibrant colors of autumn are a feast for my eyes.  Let's take a look...

Had to bring some autumn into my classroom!

I just love this little scarecrow!

Bringing the leaves indoors!

Pulling out the long sleeves and all the layers.

LOVE the large plaid shirt dresses with leggings!

But none so vibrant as the great outdoors!

Don't you just love mums in the fall?!

And the leaves on the the trees!

This one is awesome!

And that, my friends, is why I LOVE autumn!

Happy Fall Y'all

I love Autumn!   The colors of crimson, orange, gold are a spectacular show!  The cool crisp mornings and evenings are a welcome after a sweltering heat of summer!  Sitting on our screened-in porch is a welcomed treat!

October brings about many birthdays of loved ones...my hubby, my grandbaby, my BIL...and me!  {actually today is my birthday}  I love to celebrate with those I love!

Halloween has always been fun to me!  The little trick*or*treaters at my door always puts a big smile on my face!  It takes me back to when my boys were little, and the fun we always had on Halloween night!  A church party where we played games...especially the "Mummy Wrap" where one person wraps their partner with toilet paper...first one finished wins...Me being the mummy and hearing my sweet hubby laughing at me...as I was quite a sight being 8 months pregnant!  I even remember far back to my childhood and the costumes I had...sitting with my loot spread out before me, while my mother checked it for me to eat.  What fun!

Decorating my porch is something I enjoy doing at Halloween. 

My witch is an especially "fun" touch to the scene! 

The slighest noise arouses her, and she begans screeching and cackling while she moves around in a circle...her eyes shooting bright blue rays!

Fall Break Part 2

Well, I am nearing the end of week 2 of my Fall Break. Monday morning, it will be back to work I go! I always enjoy going back and hearing what my students did over break, but it sure is hard to get back on that schedule. Here are some things that I did this week...

Visited with my sister and my great-niece. I had some presents for my great niece's birthday.

This witch is AWESOME! With the flick of a

switch, her eyes start shooting blue beams, her body starts to shake all over, and she begins this ear-piercing screaming!

OMGosh! Maggie does NOT like this witch! She wishes she would go back where she came from...and she tells her that every time someone gets her going!!

Celebrated my birthday with hubby and our sons, and one son's girlfriend. We went to my favorite, CRACKER BARREL!

FINALLY **FALL ** BREAK**

Ahhhhh...Fall Break finally arrived! It has been a great first week with one more to go! YIPPEE! Here are some things that we've done this week...

~Added a few more Fall touches around the house and the porch~

~Celebrated my sweet Hubby's birthday~

~Played in the yard~

~Had LOTS of rain~

~Began a New Project~

You'll have to check back to see what it is and what I do with it!

So, there's the first week of Fall Break. This next week, we'll celebrate MY birthday, visit with my sister, play BUNCO with the girls, and continue on my mystery project.

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like...

FALL-mas! At least that's what my son says. LOL

I LOVE the falltime! The cooler, crisp days are a welcome after the sweltering heat of summer. Vibrant oranges, crimsons, and golds replace the tranquil blues and greens of summer. Pumpkins, leaves, sunflowers, and such are a welcome treat! I snapped a few pics today to share. Enjoy!
