We Have A Winner!

Well, here we are...ready to draw a winner.
Meet my assistant, Maggie.
Here's the hat Maggie...

"So what are you doing with that hat Momma?"

"Oh, so we are going to pick one of these out of the hat?"

"I'm not looking, Momma.  Who did we pick?"

"So you said NANCY at La Chambre Rose~Linens and Laurel is the winner of the magazine?!"
"CONGRATS NANCY!"
Nancy, just email my momma and give her your mailing address so she can get it in the mail to you.

Oh, how my momma wishes she had one for all of you that can't get a copy.  They have gone fast off the shelves here, but if momma sees another copy, I might just talk her into doing another drawing!
Thanks all for participating!

Blessings,
Maggie and Maggie's Momma

*GIVE-AWAY*Flea Market Style*

When I posted about the new Flea Market Style magazine, I was saddened to hear that many of my bloggin' friends couldn't find this magazine yet.  So if  they can't locate this wonderful mag in their area and I can, well it stands to reason for me to make sure at least one bloggin' friend gets a copy.  So on my way home from church this morning, I stopped in my fav store and picked up a copy for a giveaway!  So one lucky friend will win a copy of the new spectacular magazine,
FLEA MARKET STYLE!

Just leave me a comment that you haven't been able to find this magazine, and you are entered!
I'll announce the winner on the evening of WEDNESDAY, MARCH 10th!

While I was at the store, I had to pick up a few Peeps.  The colors now are so vibrant!  Either you love these Easter goodies, or you hate'em.
I love'em!  *giggles*

Have a lovely week, and I'll see you on Wednesday for the drawing!

Vintage Thingy Thursday and Flea Market Style

Today is Vintage Thingy Thursday.  First, I'm sharing a sweet little couple that is in my kitchen.  I just love these little kids on the farm.
The little girl has the milk and a chicken, while the boy carries some feed with a little piggy close by.
I think they are so adorable!
I love the white, with a touch of paint here and there that has worn off in spots over time.
SWEET!
Atop my antique school desk, are vintage tins, Salty and Peppy, as well as the little farm kids.

On the seat of the school desk, are some recipe books, vintage gingerbread man cookie cutter, a fabric farm pic, and my vintage red telephone...precious!
Be sure to head on over and check out more Vintage Thingies here.

Now, a little something about flea markets...

Do you love Flea Markets as much as I do?
Do you adore decorating with flea market finds as much as I do?
If so, then you gotta check this out.....
I had heard about this new mag, and then I spotted it on the shelves a couple of weeks ago.  OMGosh!  Have you heard about it?  And more importantly, have you picked up your copy of the new magazine, Flea Market Style yet?  I have been pouring over and over the pages.  Fabulous!  I have been a huge fan of Heather Bullard for some time now.  If you haven't gotten your copy of the premiere issue, run, don't walk, to your newsstand today.  You won't be disappointed!

Magazines*Magazines*And MORE Magazines

*A Collection of Magazines*

Are you like me?  Do you have a huge collection of decorating magazines?  Sheesh!  I have been collecting them since the early 1990's!  I finally just had to start weeding them out.  There were several favs of my from that decade that I just couldn't bare to part with!  While I did diminish my collection of mags, I still have many left.  Where do you keep your stash of decorating magazines?  I have several places where mine are kept. Even though most of them aren't  seen right off, they are always easy to access!  Whether I am enjoying a good thunderstorm on my back porch or cuddling up in my favorite chair by the fireplace, I always have magazines close at hand.  So here are my secret hide-a-ways and not-so-secret places where I keep my mags.....

I have a few magazines on my coffee table.

A small table beside a fireside chair is the perfect spot to
have magazines within reach for a "cold, cuddle-up-night-by-the-fireplace-read"!

Well, of course a "magazine" rack would be a good place to keep them!
*wink*

The back of my antique school desk hides some of my sweet reads!

Drawers of cabinets are great places for your stash!

I bet you have a bunch of magazines!
So, where do you keep all yours?

Blessings,
Rebecca
