From Red & Green to Red & Pink

Each year after taking the red and green down from Christmas, I begin to decorate with the red and pink. Living in a house full of guys, I don't decorate my home in LOTS of pink, even though I have tons of pink collections that I display in my studio and throughout the house in subtle ways...unless the holiday/season lends itself to using pink.....which Valentine's Day does! Yipppeeee!

Above is a Valentine vignette with lots of vintage goodies! I found the aqua victoria couple vase in a local antique shop. The vintage salt shakers were my mother-in-law's. I filled them with aqua and pink German glass glitter. The sweet little Valentine blocks are just precious.

I love cherubs. Here are a couple sweet little vintage cherub planters. In the little girl&boy planter holds a very vintage Valentine.

The Christmas ornaments were removed from this little tree and replace with Valentine ornies.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed my Valentine goodies. Have a lovely pink-filled day!

Rebecca

Rebecca,
Your decorations are so pretty. I love how you have the picture of you and your hubbie in the Valentine vignette! I know what you mean about having boys and not a lot of pink in the house. I have it mostly in my bedroom. LOL. How neat that your anniversary is on Valentine's...my anniversary of meeting my husband was at a Valentine's party in 1976..wow I'm getting old! Have a great Pink Saturday!

I don't decorate for the seasons, sugar, but if I did it would look like that because that's how I decorate my house every single day. Love your look, chickee!!! Darling.

Hello Jessica!
We're partners!
I'm just kind of snooping around your blog to find out what you like! And I like what I see here! I think Dolly did a wonderful job matching us up - we have so much in common - including the house full of guys! (Slowly I'm working touches of pink here and there.) hehehe
Love your Valentines Day decor. I haven't started mine yet - been busy getting another swap done. Whew! The time goes by fast and I need it done by the 20th!
Looking forward to getting to know you.
Have a wonderful Sunday!

I'm in a house with all guys too, except for our sweet Allie cat. So I know where you are coming from.

I'm searching for pink and red to decorate with! Love your photo - what year was it? 1985? Too funny!
