Walking With Jesus

It still doesn't seem real.  My Mom has gone home.  She is now walking with Jesus.  Her earthly life came to an end on Sunday afternoon with all of her loving family around her.  We sang, talked to her, and held her until she slipped into the arms of Jesus.  My Daddy held her hand right up until the end.  I miss her so much already, but I know she is whole again.  She will have no more sorrow or pain.  I have such a peace because I know where she is, and we will be together one day.  I am going to take a short break but I will return just as soon as I can.  Please pray for us as we try to find a new "normal" for our lives.
She touched so many, and gave so much...always unconditionally.  What a strong woman she was...devoted to my Daddy for 58 years.  He knows she is in a better place, but it still hurts so much.
God bless you all!
Rebecca

Rebecca, what a good thing is to know God and his son Jesus. Even when our emotional being hurts we can stand and give glory to the Lord of our lives. I see death as just a step up in our way home. I believe the same way you do, our hope, joy and faith rest in His arms. Blessings and comfort from our Comforter, the Holy Spirit, Marta.

Rebecca,

Sweet girl-wish I could hug you today! I've been praying for you since I read your post about your Mom. I know it must be hard to let her go...but you KNOW she is with Jesus and what a blessing to KNOW this! I pray you will find comfort as the days will be hectic for awhile. Get rest and take care of yourself.

Hugs and prayers,

Sonia

Oh Rebecca.
If only I could wrap my arms around you and help you through this most difficult time . . . if only I could trade places with you - because I've been where you are - I would know what to expect in the days ahead and I would know that I really will survive it.
Oh my friend - my heart . . . it hurts for you. Please know that in the months to come . . . the pain? it really will slightly ease. You will move on, you will get past this, because you know that is what she would want you to do. She is fine . . . now and forever. You needn't worry about her any longer.
Big hugs my friend! With a little sway . . .
My love, Karen

Rebecca, I checked in tonight for a few minutes, and I'm so sorry to read this. My heart goes out to you and your family. Like you, I rejoice that she has gone home to Jesus, but I weep with you because I know how hard it is to lose your mom. Please accept my deepest sympathy. Will be thinking of you, and I pray that the Lord will hold your entire family close to His heart...

Love,

Sheila

Rebecca,
You have my sincere sympathy on the loss of your mother. I lost my father to cancer some years back and I know how heart breaking it is to loose a parent. As you said, she is no longer suffering , but is whole and in the most perfect place.
God bless you during this difficult time.
