Girl After My Own Heart

My sweet great niece is really into crafting.
She's a girl after my own heart.
When she comes over for a visit, we disappear for hours!

And here's where we go...

She loves to sift through all my bits and baubles, flowers, paper...actually everything...just like ME!

And we get in our "creative zone"!

Her latest project was inspired by the vintage journals I had just created.  With that decision made, we went in hunt of a journal that was to her liking.  I let her design it the way she wants to.  She picks out just the right paper, flowers, and embellishments that would make her happy.

And I think she did just THAT!

Pretty!

Happy Creating!
Rebecca

Your niece seems to have a knack for crafting. It's nice to see a young girl take an interest such things.

Hope you had a nice mother's day

Oh goodness. You know I had been ringing your doorbell all weekend and no one ever came to the door. Now I know why! Hope you don't mind that I made myself at home . . .
GOLLY I WISH!
Love your special space! I could find some wonderful little things in there . . . ewwww Girl, we could have us some fun making a big ol' mess.
And your niece did a great job making her very own journal. She takes after her Auntie - I love it when that happens!
I'm off today ~ WHOO HOOOOO ! and I intend to pretty much bury myself in my studio - a HUGE swap with TWO people coming up . . . the pressure is on! I need to get these things wrapped up! We are going to go wine tasting for 3 days next week, and after that - the month is pretty much gone . . .
And you have sumer vacation coming up ~ right?
Hope all is well. Have a great day! Hugs! Karen

It looks like you have all sorts of goodies to create with, no wonder she loves to come and play with her Auntie and disappear for hours!
