Guestroom Redo

Our guest bedroom has gotten a new look...one that is pink and girly!  It is not completed yet, but I thought I'd share what I have done so far.

I love this child's white wicker chair that I got for $7.00.  I bought the pretty pillow from Etsy...

 And my $14.00 rocker.

This room will began to get more "baby" girl pink things since we will be having a granddaughter soon.

Hope you have a blessed weekend.

Pink for a Princess

Happy Pink Saturday!

This past week, I have gotten to do something that I haven't had much of a chance to do.....

shop for PINK baby clothes!
The leggings are velour, and the bows are velvet.

I love Gymboree!  I love the ruffles on this cute puppy sweater...and how cute is the little puppy shirt with Lulu, Fifi, and Coco!

With having two boys, our experience hasn't included pink.  However now...I have a reason...an AwESoMe reason for shopping for PINK!  As I shared a few weeks ago, my son is engaged to the love of his life, and she has a baby girl...a baby girl that he plans to adopt.  We are totally in love with this precious little one year old!  Recently, we were so honored to get to share her first birthday with her and all of her family.  We couldn't be happier than to welcome this little girl into our family!  Just take a peek...

This princess hat didn't stay on very long!

Her big birthday cake had a picture her in her Belle princess outfit on it, however, she had a special little cake just for her.

She LOVED it!
Can you tell?

Then, she wore her hat a little more.

She loved her pink balloons.  She took it around to each person.  Here she is with her new Pa.  He thinks she's pretty special!

Her new Grammy thinks she is too!

Not only did I get to shop for girly clothes, I got to buy baby dolls and girly toys!  I had such fun shopping!
Here's the baby doll we gave her.

We have always teased my hubby {who had no siblings, and father to our two boys} that one day, he was going to have a little granddaughter, and he would play tea party with her.  He always argued {playfully} that he would teach her to play baseball and guitar, and he would leave the tea parties to me.  I told him that when she looked up at him and asked him to play tea party, that he would just melt, and all of that would be out the window!  lol  So of course when I saw this...

it quickly ended up in my shopping cart!

And since our little princess had a "princess party", we had to stick with that theme when wrapping her gifts...

I hope you all have a little princess in your life!

Have a most blessed Pink Saturday

I've been doing some online shopping lately for Christmas and birthdays.  In doing so, I have come across the most precious babies, all adorned in pink.  So today, I'm going to share those with you on this Pink Saturday.

ENJOY!

Aren't they all just precious?!?
There are many more pink posts awaiting
