Vintage Thingy Thursday and Flea Market Style

Today is Vintage Thingy Thursday.  First, I'm sharing a sweet little couple that is in my kitchen.  I just love these little kids on the farm.
The little girl has the milk and a chicken, while the boy carries some feed with a little piggy close by.
I think they are so adorable!
I love the white, with a touch of paint here and there that has worn off in spots over time.
SWEET!
Atop my antique school desk, are vintage tins, Salty and Peppy, as well as the little farm kids.

On the seat of the school desk, are some recipe books, vintage gingerbread man cookie cutter, a fabric farm pic, and my vintage red telephone...precious!
Be sure to head on over and check out more Vintage Thingies here.

Now, a little something about flea markets...

Do you love Flea Markets as much as I do?
Do you adore decorating with flea market finds as much as I do?
If so, then you gotta check this out.....
I had heard about this new mag, and then I spotted it on the shelves a couple of weeks ago.  OMGosh!  Have you heard about it?  And more importantly, have you picked up your copy of the new magazine, Flea Market Style yet?  I have been pouring over and over the pages.  Fabulous!  I have been a huge fan of Heather Bullard for some time now.  If you haven't gotten your copy of the premiere issue, run, don't walk, to your newsstand today.  You won't be disappointed!

Back Porch Blessings,
Rebecca

I am always attracted to those Salty and Peppy wooden shakers, but I have resisted the temptation to buy them. Your red telephone is really cute.

Since I am old past telephone worker, I love the red phone. I enjoyed all you featured today, but it caught my eye.

Can't seem to find a copy of Flea Market Finds. But I shall not give up!! Heather's was one of the first blogs I started following. She is local here. She's very inspirational, I just love her.
