White Wednesday AND Rednesday

It is Wednesday again and time for showing off some treasures.  I am participating in White Wednesday and Rednesday today.  Be sure to visit each one for more wonderful whites and really great reds!

First up, are my whites...
I adore figurines of children...guess it's the teacher in me.  lol  When I spotted these, I snatched them right up...1} because they were children and 2} I LOVED that they were white with just a touch of color here and there.  These little cuties are on top of my antique school desk, which happens to be in a corner of my kitchen.

This is a sweet little shade that I found on ETSY for $5.00  It was the perfect shade for my white hobnail lamp that has been patiently waiting for it for years...now it's complete!

I am a bunny collector, and this is one of my favorite bunnies that stays out all year.  I adore this sweet white bunny with a big white bow around its neck.  And the "flower vase" was actually a fancy bottle of water.  One of our Bunco girls found these for us at...BIG LOTS!
Well, those are my whites for this WW...
Now, on to the reds...

If you were to visit my house, not only do I LOVE neutrals such as the whites...but I am a HUGE fan of the color RED!!!  My kitchen is painted red, as well as the master bathroom.  You will find many red accents and treasures in several rooms of our home.
This is the sideboard in my dining room.  You saw my cute little white bunny and water bottle vase...but you also see LOTS of red surrounding them.  This room just makes me smile anytime I'm in it.

*yep, you can see I took this at night.  lol*
This is a cart that is in front of one of my kitchen windows.  I have collected tins for many, many years...many which are red...these are two of my favorites!

And on the seat of my school desk *the one that is home to my white boy & girl figurine*, you will find my sweet, red, metal phone that I bought at a blog sale of my sweet friend, Becky, several years ago.  LOVE THIS!!!

Thank you for visiting on this White Wednesday and Rednesday.  Be sure to click the above links to visit the hostesses and participants!

Lastly, I want to wish my sweet great-niece, Corinne, who is my crafting buddy, a VERY HAPPY 12th BIRTHDAY!

Red and White Blessings,
Rebecca

Hi Rebecca,

Isn't it fun to finally find just what you've been looking for? Your lampshade is a perfect match for the base!

I love your red tins, and that little telephone! And I once had a pink depression glass lamp, with that same shade on it. I sold it at a garage sale, and I don't think I'll ever forgive myself for it!

I'm visiting via White Wednesday. Just had to comment on your little lamp shade from etsy. I just bought a pair similar to yours 2 weeks ago and then continued to see them 4 different times while out junking since then. And now here again on your blog! Crazy, how that happens.
Susanne.
